POP QUEENS for PEACE What’s that? POP QUEENS for PEACE is sort of movement... well not right now, but it’s what I harbor in my imagination today. (26JAN2o24)
Imagine, a POP QUEENS for PEACE rally. I want peace, not war, to lightly prick every person - everyone in the world - to soothe them, to calm them, to give all people reprieve from war, conflict, atrocities, aggression, violence and hopelessness.
POP QUEENS for PEACE is a movement started by these POP QUEENS who are champions for peace. They are a new voice for peace as our humanity is attacked, our rights are attacked and so many of us are silenced.
OK. I”m imaging a rally with women and girls (and men, boys, our brothers, grandfathers, fathers and sons) dressed as POP QUEENS (or not—all peaceniks are welcome just the way you are). Style the way you feel most comfortable for the imagined rally. Crowns, hats, tiaras and head gear are optional. Stylish Sunglasses, however, give the POP QUEENS their power and courage. They can hide behind them giving them a bit of privacy and anonymity. Take them off and put them on as needed and peek over the rims to see what’s going on, discretely. Designer rally signs, optional, but they truly add to our voice and movement for PEACE.
These POP QUEENS for PEACE are my champions for PEACE. They have come into being as a voice for PEACE in my imagination. They express the need for PEACE in small ways, NOW. As they (and me too) find their own individual voice and comfort zone moving forward for PEACE _ Jessica Stockwell - 26JAN2o24
