- This year marks my 70th journey around the sun! To celebrate, I’ve brought my 2023 illustrations to life in the vibrant, new POP-QUEENS for PEACE Collection | 2027

- You might wonder, what exactly are POP-QUEENS? Between November 2020 and 2023, like many others navigating the aftermath of COVID, I began illustrating women’s faces. Since I struggle with drawing eyes, I added fashionable glasses. Hair? I replaced it with crown-like headdresses—a creative space where my ink pen freely follows my imagination with swirls, accents and objects that fill the canvas.

Inspired by documentaries on European history and archaeological quests, such as the search for Queen Nefertiti’s tomb, and inspired by books like *The Young Queens* by Leah Redmond Chang. My Collection honors remarkable women.
Each illustration becomes a “digital artifact”: photographed, digitized into scalable outlines that preserve their original integrity and essence.
Now full of personality, these artworks are transformed into a soft, elegant collection of twelve, 70x100cm scarfs, crafted from 100% organic cotton. Perfect as a travelling campanion and for any occassion! -Jessica
